LAS VEGAS, NV (Nov. 04, 2026) —The Las Vegas Regional Economic Partnership (LVREP) announced today that Michael Walsh has rejoined the organization as Vice President of Existing Business, bringing nearly two decades of experience in regional economic development and business attraction in Southern Nevada. In his new role, Walsh will help lead LVREP’s efforts to support existing businesses across Southern Nevada, identify opportunities for growth and expansion, and strengthen relationships with the companies and partners that contribute to the region’s economic vitality. Walsh returns to LVREP after most recently serving as an Economic Development Specialist with Clark County, Nevada, a position he held since December 2024. Prior to joining the County, he spent 17 years with the organization, formerly known as the Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance (LVGEA), serving as Vice President of Business Development.

“I’m excited to return to LVREP and continue contributing to the economic growth of Southern Nevada. Having spent 17 years with the organization, I understand the importance of strong relationships and collaboration in helping businesses succeed. I look forward to reconnecting with regional partners and supporting the businesses that make our community thrive,” states Michael Walsh.

“Having Michael join LVREP at this critical point in our evolution will be a tremendous asset. He brings an in-depth understanding of our regional economy and relationships that will be invaluable as we continue strengthening our business retention and expansion efforts. His proven ability to build strong partnerships within the Southern Nevada business community as well as national decision makers will allow him to hit the ground running as we work to ensure businesses have the resources, connections and support they need to grow and succeed here,” said Danielle Casey, President & CEO of LVREP.

“A strong regional economy is built not only by attracting new businesses but also by helping the companies already here grow and thrive. Michael’s return brings valuable experience and established relationships that will strengthen LVREP’s ability to support our existing business community. His leadership in business retention and expansion is an important part of our continued commitment to creating a more competitive and prosperous Southern Nevada,” said Lauri Perdue, LVREP Board Chair.

A native of New York, Walsh has called Southern Nevada home since September 2001. His extensive experience, regional knowledge and longstanding relationships make him a valuable addition to LVREP’s leadership team as the organization advances its strategic priorities and works to foster sustainable economic growth throughout the region.
